LUCY JOHNSON
Lucy Johnson is a PhD Candidate in Rhetoric and Composition at Washington State University. Next fall she will be joining the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as an Assistant Professor of Digital Literacies. Her research focuses primarily on the intersections of digital and cultural rhetorics to understand, question, and teach digital literacy. Prior to pursuing her PhD, she earned her MA in English Pedagogy at Northern Michigan University, focusing on the application of multimodal pedagogy within first-year composition. Recently, she collaborated with Cheryl Ball, Jennifer Sheppard, and Kristin Arola on Instructor's Manual of the second edition of Writer/Designer: A Guide to Making Multimodal Projects.
RACHAEL GRAHAM LUSSOS
Rachael Graham Lussos is a PhD student in Writing and Rhetoric at George Mason University (GMU), where she studies the rhetoric of pain treatment, proposal writing, and activist composition. She is an adjunct professor for American University and a professional writing instructor for government and commercial organizations. She has forthcoming publications in Computers and Composition, Journal of Technical Writing and Communication, and PraxisWiki. She is an active volunteer for the GMU student chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) and the nonprofit Extra-Ordinary Birthdays.
