Abstract
"I am Cleaning Out My Attic" is a creative-critical autoethnography that grapples with the question of what curation for social interaction can mean at a cultural moment when the term curation has been all but emptied of meaning because of its broadcast use in multiple venues. It seeks to clarify the roots of curation as a material practice where objects operate as memory effects that anchor stories to time, place, and lived experience.
